SKI-DOO ETEC SYSTEM OVERVIEW

Aerocharger is the pioneering turbo system for the Ski-Doo E-TEC. Since 2010, we have been developing our product and this system has been in production since the 800 E-TEC was released in 2011. No other company has turbocharged as many Ski-Doo E-TECs as we have.

OUT OF THE BOX: AEROCHARGER E-TEC SYSTEM COMPONENTS



We build the Aerochargers and the rest of the system all under one roof - Aerocharger Turbo Systems are the only systems for the E-TEC offered directly from a turbo manufacturer. The Aerocharger features a unique Variable Vane system different from other turbos, which makes it well-suited to operating with the E-TEC engine. The advantage of implementing a kit designed and developed directly by turbo engineers is that this kit has been absolutely optimized to achieve maximum performance from the E-TEC with the Aerocharger. BRPs racing division tested the Aerocharger system on their dyno and came up with 240 hp at 7psi of boost. Riders understand that no operating environment is ever quite the same as another, and our pre-tuned fuel controller can compensate for variable conditions – this setup will function adequately on pump gas, and different performance results can be achieved depending on elevation and boost setting. The Aerocharger E-TEC kit will also perform well with engine mods such as big bore kits and lower/higher compression.

The Aerocharger Turbo System airbox has been specially engineered for the Ski-Doo E-TEC, and was designed to prioritize throttle response. The design closely resembles the original airbox to maintain stock tuning advantages.

Turbo Skidoo Airbox
An airbox with an integrated Air to Snow is also an option for increased performance. This intercooler was developed for the Aerocharger Hillclimb race team and is now commercially available for the first time. It works by directing water, snow, and ice from the tunnel through the intercooler core, which lowers the air charge temperature. This intercooler will require modification to the snowmobile's tunnel, with do-it-yourself instructions and templates provided.

All E-TEC kits ship with specialized Turbo Reeds. These upgraded reeds were developed by BRP based on the Aerocharger E-TEC system. Through rigorous field testing, Aerocharger has established this kit to be one of the most reliable and consistent kits available for any sled. Aerocharger operators report a slightly louder but tolerable operating noise level, and Aerocharged E-TECs remain compliant with all noise ordinances.

This kit was designed to install to the vehicle with little modification from stock. All system components are located under the stock Ski-Doo paneling, and full use of all of the E-TECs features and accessories are preserved.
